Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join the Water Environment Team in the UK. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will lead complex flood risk projects, mentor colleagues, and support business development to grow the team.

You will apply hydraulic modelling, hydrology methods and GIS analysis while liaising with agencies and water companies to deliver climate-resilient solutions across the UK. The role rewards leadership and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Chartered or working towards it with CIWEM, ICE or similar body.
• Significant experience managing and delivering water environment projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver flood risk and drainage consultancy projects across the UK.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to business development and future capability direction.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
