Job summary
Egis UK is seeking an experienced Principal Flood Risk Consultant/Engineer to lead flood risk assessment and management projects for major developments, with a focus on hydraulic modelling and SuDS design. You will work within a multidisciplinary team across the UK, driving growth, innovation and high-quality outputs.
The role requires Chartered status or near, with strong UK regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in project leadership, client engagement and delivering sustainable flood
Qualifications
- Degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
- Chartered or nearing Chartered status with CIWEM or ICE.
- Strong knowledge of UK flood risk policy and standards.
- Proven experience producing Flood Risk Assessments for development.
- Experience with industry software for flood modelling and drainage.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of flood risk assessments for major schemes.
- Provide technical leadership on flood risk, drainage and water environment.
- Develop and review drainage strategies and SuDS designs.
- Mentor junior team members and review outputs.
- Support business development and client engagement.
