My client, a specialist UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant based in Leeds.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong academic background with a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, or Environmental Modelling.
• Experience in completing flood risk assessments.
• Beneficial: experience with drainage strategies and a keen interest in climate change and nutrient neutrality.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will join a specialist flood risk team to work on various projects, including residential, retail, industrial, renewable energy, and climate change initiatives for public and private sector clients and insurance companies.

• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Risk Due Diligence for Real Estate.
• Perform Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap.
• Analyze Rainfall, Weather, and Wildfire data.
• Prepare Hydrology and Environmental Chapters for EIAs.
• Assess Nutrient Neutrality.
• Develop Property Flood Resilience strategies.
• Design Drainage Strategies and SAB Applications.
• Contribute to bid proposals and tenders.
• Manage projects and coordinate with clients on project development.
