Teledyne Controls in Uxbridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features end-to-end, spanning a mature .NET backend, Angular front ends and Python tooling. You will design and build services that process flight data, take architectural ownership of a product area and mentor others in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role focuses on delivering robust systems for aviation data analysis, with a strong emphasis on performance, correctness and forward‑looking modernization of legacy

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production software commercially.
• Strong C#/.NET and MySQL skills.
• Comfortable across the stack; TypeScript/Angular when needed.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Genuine debugging ability and code review experience.
• Git and modern version control workflows.
• Python basics; AWS experience (EC2/Lambda/S3/RDS).
• Docker and CI/CD pipelines; automated testing.
• Aviation/aerospace domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from design to release across backend, frontend and tooling.
• Design and build backend services and APIs for large flight data volumes.
• Provide architectural guidance and lead technical decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code.
• Collaborate with QA, product and engineering leads in an Agile cycle.
• Modernise legacy .NET components with sensible forward steps.
