Job summary

sees.ai is building autonomous drone technology to inspect and manage critical infrastructure at scale from London. We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own substantial parts of the platform, spanning APIs, services and data models to planning interfaces and flight data review.

You'll work across the stack with flight ops and autonomy engineers, contributing to a fast, high-impact team; hybrid work across our London office and HQ near Chichester is offered.

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial full-stack experience and proven production software delivery.
• Strong React and modern TypeScript skills; Python with FastAPI preferred.
• Good API design and relational data modelling.
• Experience with asynchronous systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of containers, CI/CD and monitoring.
• Experience building systems that scale.
• Strong engineering judgement and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and translate them into simple solutions.
• Comfort working with non-software engineers (pilots, autonomy engineers, asset engineers).
• Experience with robotics, aviation, IoT, geospatial data, real-time telemetry, AI/ML pipelines or safety-critical tech is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features in React and FastAPI from problem to production.
• Create control room and customer interfaces: mission planning and live views.
• Develop backend services: APIs, data pipelines and storage for large imagery and telemetry.
• Ensure the platform scales to continuous operations across national and international assets.
• Collaborate with flight ops, autonomy and customer teams to solve real problems.
• Improve testing, observability, CI/CD and code review practices.
• Leverage AI tooling for code development and data workflows.
