Teledyne Controls Flight Data Company in Uxbridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end feature development for flight data processing from design to release. You will design backend services, own architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

The role requires 4+ years of production software experience, strong C#/.NET skills, RESTful API design, and familiarity with TypeScript/Angular.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production software commercially.
• Strong C#/.NET and MySQL relational database skills.
• Ability to work across the stack, including TypeScript/Angular when needed.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Git and modern version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs that process large volumes of flight data.
• Take technical ownership of a product area and make architectural decisions.
• Review code and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering leads in Agile cycles.
• Modernise legacy .NET components without unnecessary rewrites.
