Job summary

Harrison Scott Associates are seeking an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a well-established packaging printer in a professional, quality-focused production environment in the East Midlands.

You will set up and operate flexographic presses, manage inks, substrates and plates, ensure print quality and colour consistency, and work to production deadlines while maintaining safety and cleanliness. The role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic printing machinery.
• Strong knowledge of inks, substrates, plates and print quality.
• Ability to work to production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to production specifications.
• Prepare presses for production, including inks, substrates and tooling.
• Ensure print quality and colour consistency throughout production.
• Carry out quality checks and make adjustments as required.
• Monitor the press and resolve issues during production.
• Work to production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across production and prepress.
• Support investigation and resolution of print-related issues.
