Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer to service a wide range of commercial fire and security systems across London and the inner M25. The role offers enhanced earning potential through overtime and on‑call payments, with a company vehicle and all tools provided.

You will work on CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with British Standards and FIA regulations. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
• Solid understanding of IP-based systems (essential).
• Excellent knowledge of current British Standards and FIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault-finding, repairing, maintaining and upgrading fire and security systems.
• Carrying out small remedial works as required.
• Covering customer sites across London and inside the M25.
• Participating in the on-call rota (approximately one week in every six).
• Occasionally carrying out gate and door automation work (full training provided if required).

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a well‑established, NACOSS Gold and BAFE Fire Gold Accredited company. This role offers excellent earning potential through overtime and on‑call payments while servicing a wide range of commercial fire and security systems across London and inner M25.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault‑finding, repairing, maintaining and upgrading fire and security systems
• Working on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, IP‑based systems and more
• Carrying out small remedial works as required
• Working to British Standards and FIA regulations
• Covering customer sites across London and inside the M25
