A leader in battery energy storage is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to ensure the safety and compliance of energy storage systems across the EMEA region. This role emphasizes product design support, regulatory tracking, and project engineering fire safety support. Candidates should have significant experience in fire safety engineering, a relevant degree, and familiarity with various fire safety standards. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment, making a real impact in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fire safety engineering experience in energy storage or industrial power.
• Deep understanding of fire protection codes and standards including UL 9540A, NFPA 855.
• Experience in large‑scale fire testing programs and interpreting test results.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire safety guidance during the design and development of BESS enclosures.
• Monitor updates in fire safety codes relevant to energy storage products.
• Provide project-specific technical support on fire safety requirements.
