Job summary

UK Fire Door Training is expanding its fire risk assessment and passive fire protection training across the UK. We seek an experienced Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality training, assessment and learner support, focusing on Level 3 Foundation and Level 4 Intermediate programmes.

The role requires substantial current fire risk assessment experience and knowledge of fire stopping installation, inspection or surveying. Excellent development opportunities and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Substantial current experience carrying out fire risk assessments and producing clear reports.
• A Level 4 fire risk assessment qualification or demonstrably equivalent competence.
• Strong knowledge of England fire safety legislation and guidance (RRO 2005).
• Understanding of means of escape, fire doors, compartmentation, fire stopping, alarms and emergency lighting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face Fire Risk Assessment training for Level 3 Foundation and Level 4 Intermediate programmes.
• Support Level 5 Fire Risk Assessment delivery where possible.
• Deliver practical Fire Stopping Installation and Inspection/Survey training where competent.
• Assess learners’ knowledge and practical competence against requirements; provide feedback.
