Job summary

ProGroup Recruitment is seeking a Lead Fire Risk Assessor to join its growing Fire Safety team in the UK. The role combines hands-on assessment work with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior staff, and guiding complex projects across a varied portfolio.

You will oversee life safety risk assessments, ensure quality and compliance, and act as a technical reference for the team, while building strong relationships with clients and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering life safety fire risk assessments across diverse buildings.
• Experience mentoring junior assessors and reviewing assessments.
• Strong report writing and client communication skills.
• In depth knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive life safety fire risk assessments and complex projects.
• Provide technical oversight and QA for the assessment team.
• Mentor and develop Fire Risk Assessors within the group.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support audits.
