Job summary

CHPK Group is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Consultant to deliver risk assessments across residential, commercial and public sector buildings in London. You will conduct Type 1-4 assessments, inspect fire doors and compartmentation, and produce clear reports with practical recommendations.

You will provide fire safety guidance, liaise with clients and professionals, and contribute to fee proposals. The role offers hybrid working options within a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in completing fire risk assessments.
• Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, IFSM, IFE, FRACS or similar.
• Registered fire risk assessor (TFRAR or IFE) and experience of intrusive fire compartmentation inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments per PAS 79.
• Inspect fire doors and compartmentation.
• Produce clear, accurate reports with practical client recommendations.
• Provide fire safety guidance in line with legislation and best practice.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and fire safety professionals.
• Support compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005 and Building Safety Act.
• Produce fee proposals.
