Job summary

Allsaved Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to take a leading role within our growing Fire Engineering team in Billingshurst. You will manage and develop a team of four Graduate Fire Engineers and own the production of fire strategies for new developments and existing buildings.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, able to review colleagues' work, and to advise clients and design teams on fire safety matters.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fire engineering team.
• Experience with new builds and existing buildings.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and BS standards.
• Ability to mentor graduates and junior engineers.
• Proven report production and quality assurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and technically support a team of four Graduate Fire Engineers.
• Allocate and oversee fire engineering projects across the team.
• Produce and review fire strategy reports for new buildings, refurbishments and existing buildings.
• Produce retrospective fire strategies for existing and operational buildings.
• Review reports for quality and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Advise clients, architects, contractors and design teams on fire engineering matters.
• Develop practical fire safety solutions covering means of escape, compartmentation, detection and suppression.
