Job summary

The Health and Safety Partnership Limited is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to lead fire safety and building safety projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-risk buildings in the UK, with hybrid working and travel as needed.

You will mentor junior engineers, support compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act, and provide specialist advice to clients and design teams to deliver robust fire engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering FRAEW assessments and/or EWS1 reviews.
• Strong understanding of Approved Document B, PAS 9980, Building Safety Act and related fire legislation.
• Experience in a consultancy environment and ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support fire safety and building safety projects, liaising with architects, developers, contractors and regulators.
• Deliver technically robust fire engineering services and support Building Regulations compliance.
• Mentor graduate and junior fire engineers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and industry best practice.

Education

BEng in Fire Engineering

Professional body membership (IFE/CABE/CIOB/RICS)
