Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fire Engineer in Eltham, London, to lead a brand-new function within a long-established consultancy. The role offers hybrid working, with site visits and office time, and the chance to own commissions end-to-end.

You will deliver Fire Risk Assessments, advise on fire legislation and HRBs, manage stakeholders, and help grow a small team as workload expands, building a clear development pathway.

Qualifications

• Strong real-world Fire Engineering / Fire Safety experience.
• Comfortable leading commissions/projects and managing stakeholders in a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of relevant fire legislation/safety acts, HRBs, and experience leading Fire Risk Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a brand-new Fire Engineering function from the Eltham office, with hybrid working and site visits.
• Deliver and lead fire safety commissions and projects through to completion.
• Undertake/oversee Fire Risk Assessments and provide client-facing advice.
• Support team growth over time, with progression and leadership development available.
