SALARY - £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Our client designs and delivers fire services to commercial and domestic clients. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.

Key attributes for the Fire & Security Engineer role:

• NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• 3D CAD Design experience in the fire industry
• Mechanical / electrical installation experience (beneficial)
• Hands-on, practical engineering skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Mentoring experience for junior/graduate engineers
• Full UK driving license

Role responsibilities include:

• Servicing, installation, and maintenance of fire and security systems
• Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
• Collaborating within a small team to deliver quality service
• Traveling to customer sites (around 2 hours daily)
• Occasional travel within the UK, e.g., Scotland or Wales
