Locum Health is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join our London team. You will lead fire engineering projects from concept through to completion, delivering high-quality fire safety solutions across a varied portfolio of sectors.

Key duties include developing fire strategies, producing technical reports, advising on building regulations and standards, and mentoring junior engineers. A strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Engineer, Senior level.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing fire strategies and technical reports.
• Knowledge of fire safety design, compartmentation, means of escape and fire protection systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Confident liaising with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Fire Engineer to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Fire Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, working on a varied portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality fire engineering solutions, providing technical expertise and supporting the successful delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver fire engineering projects from inception through to completion.
• Undertake fire strategies, fire risk assessments and technical fire engineering reports.
• Provide specialist advice on fire safety, building regulations and relevant British Standards.
• Carry out fire engineering calculations, analysis and technical assessments.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, building control and other design professionals.
