Job summary

Technical Resources Ltd. is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of commercial fire alarm and life safety projects in London and surrounding areas.

You will oversee projects from inception through completion, coordinating teams, materials and subcontractors to meet tight deadlines. The role requires at least 5 years in a fire alarm project management environment, strong organisational skills, and solid knowledge of BS 5839 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a project management role within fire alarm or electronic security industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills.
• Sound technical knowledge of fire detection and life safety systems, including BS 5839 standards.
• Experience managing project P&L, budgets, and subcontractor relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.
• FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (desirable).
• SMSTS or CSCS Black Manager Card (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of fire alarm projects from inception to completion, values up to £750k.
• Take ownership of full P&L responsibilities and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate materials, labour and subcontractors to ensure on-site readiness.
• Conduct regular client meetings and act as primary contact throughout delivery.
• Liaise with Design Team to align drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Monitor programmes and drive progress across concurrent projects.

As a Senior Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of commercial fire alarm and life safety projects, working across a range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use sites in the London and Surrey area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire detection and life safety solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of fire alarm projects from inception to completion, with values of up to £750k.
• Take ownership of full P&L responsibilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Organise and coordinate materials, labour, and subcontractors to ensure resources are on site when required.
• Conduct regular client meetings, maintaining strong relationships and acting as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Liaise with the Design Team to ensure technical drawings, specifications, and documentation are aligned with project requirements.
• Monitor project programmes and drive progress to ensure strict deadlines are met across multiple concurrent projects.
