Peratera is seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to ensure reliability and scalability of a live fintech platform processing real financial transactions. The role is fully remote in the United Kingdom with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, and observability.

You will own SLIs/SLOs, incident management, cost optimization, and security/compliance including FCA/PCI DSS requirements. 5–7+ years in DevOps/SRE, Terraform IaC, and OpenSearch/ELK are highly valued.

Qualificações

• 5–7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS and Kubernetes (prefer EKS).
• Proven CI/CD experience (GitLab CI preferred).
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform.
• Understanding of distributed systems and high availability.
• Production monitoring, alerting, and logging expertise.
• DB operations close to DBA level; networking and cloud security knowledge.
• Experience in fintech/payments or regulated environments (PCI DSS familiarity).
• OpenSearch/ELK, Prometheus/Grafana experience.
• Interest in AIOps and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee reliability and scalability of a live fintech platform.
• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure reliability and performance.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Build observability: logging, metrics, alerting, tracing.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Lead incident management and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate to reduce failure points and enable self-healing.
