Standard Life plc is seeking a Senior Financial Risk Manager to lead risk reporting and governance across external and regulatory disclosures. The role will coordinate input from Finance, Risk SMEs, Legal and CoSec, ensuring outputs are clear, accurate and suitable for Boards, Committees, regulators and investors.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in financial risk, enterprise risk, external or regulatory reporting within life insurance or financial services.
• Professional qualification such as IFoA, CERA, FRM, or equivalent risk/finance discipline.
• Experience producing clear material for Boards, Committees, regulators and investors.
• Understanding of life insurance models, Solvency UK and risk management frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Lead risk reporting outputs for external/disclosures and risk surveys.
• Coordinate input from Finance, Risk SMEs, Legal, CoSec and stakeholders for consistent outputs.
• Draft and review Board/Committee/regulatory reporting material for clear, decision-ready content.
• Support governance planning, governance processes, and resource coordination.
• Oversee governance for risk committees, including agenda tracking and action management.
• Maintain oversight of reporting risks and controls with robust evidence trails.
• Provide constructive challenge to align outputs with regulatory requirements and market practice.
• Drive process improvements and smarter use of technology across reporting cycles.
