Job summary

Huntress is partnering with a boutique accounting and financial reporting firm in Theale, Berkshire, seeking a Financial Reporting Manager. You will handle a diverse and technically challenging portfolio, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality financial reporting.

The role offers significant autonomy and opportunities to contribute to growth, with a focus on complex reporting, consolidation reviews and technical accounting analysis.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, FRS102 and UK GAAP.
• Experience in a Top 20 firm would be advantageous.
• Experience managing client projects from planning to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of financial reporting projects from planning through to completion.
• Deliver high-quality financial reporting solutions to clients.
• Lead on complex and judgemental areas of client work.
• Coach, mentor and delegate effectively to trainees and junior members of the team.
• Review work and provide constructive feedback to support development of others.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client delivery.
• Take ownership of ongoing professional development and contribute to growth of the firm.
