Senior Finance Analyst (Part-Time Contract)

• Location: Derby (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite)
• Rate: £68.25 per hour (Inside IR35) - Via Umbrella
• Contract: 12 months
• Hours: 22.5 per week (3 days), with potential to increase to 29.5 hrs (4 days)

We’re partnering with a global engineering organisation on a high-impact transformation programme, and they’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support performance management and drive cost optimisation across the business.

This role sits within the Global Business Services (GBS) function, supporting both the finance and programme teams, and reporting to the VP of Finance and the Senior Programme Manager. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 10 accountants and playing a key role in shaping finance strategy across this evolving landscape.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting delivery of a major change programme and ensuring benefits realisation
• Leading budget, forecast, and actuals analysis across multiple currencies
• Providing insights to senior stakeholders and driving performance outcomes
• Ensuring financial compliance and audit-ready documentation
• Contributing to strategic reporting and investment committee updates

What we’re looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar roles
• Strong analytical skills and background in enterprise environments
• Experience with EAP systems and global finance processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
