Quilter Cheviot in Chester seeks a Financial Planner to manage an established client portfolio (£45m AUM) and to grow the business by developing new client relationships and advising on holistic financial solutions. You’ll work with discretionary investment teams while building a strong pipeline and ensuring compliant, high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Level 4 (Diploma) in Financial Planning (minimum).
• Experience giving regulated advice to high-net-worth private clients.
• Strong communication skills and regulatory adherence.
• Desirable: Advanced Financial Planning qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an existing client base, including inherited portfolio with assets under management circa £45 million.
• Win new clients through your professional network and Quilter referrals, converting enquiries into new relationships.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, running events and creating a steady flow of new business.
• Own your growth plan and targets with coaching and support from the Area Director and distribution partners.
• Ensure compliance with FCA requirements and Quilter values, maintaining excellent client documentation.
• Develop your personal reputation for professionalism and quality of advice and client service.
