Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a Financial Crime Technology and AI Transformation Lead Manager to provide independent second-line oversight across Financial Crime and Fraud systems and controls. You will drive engagement across NextGen and ensure technology-enabled controls remain effective and aligned with regulatory requirements and risk appetite.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Financial Crime, Fraud or related control functions within a regulated environment.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in at least one core Financial Crime capability area, with breadth across a control environment.
• Ability to challenge design, governance and operational effectiveness of technology-enabled controls.
• Experience leading transformation, technology, digital or strategic change.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-line oversight across Financial Crime and Fraud systems and transformation.
• Engage across Product, Technology, Data, Architecture and Operations to form risk positions.
• Assess designs and data dependencies; ensure controls operate effectively and sustainably.
• Shape future-state customer journeys and operating models to embed requirements.
• Translate regulatory and risk findings into practical capability enhancements.
