Job summary

Metro Bank seeks a Financial Crime Technology and AI Transformation Lead Manager to deliver independent second-line oversight across Financial Crime and Fraud systems, controls and strategic transformation. You will lead engagement across capabilities such as Behavioural Detection, Customer Risk and Screening, and AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires senior stakeholder management and governance experience in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Financial Crime, Fraud, Compliance or related control function within a regulated environment.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in at least one core Financial Crime capability area.
• Experience leading second-line oversight across multiple transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second-line oversight across Financial Crime and Fraud systems and controls.
• Lead engagement across capabilities including NextGen and AI-enabled controls.
• Challenge design of preventative, detective and monitoring controls and data requirements.
• Translate regulatory requirements and remediation lessons into practical recommendations.
• Represent Change & Technology Oversight in governance forums with clear risk opinions.
