Job summary

New Leaf Search is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Accounting and Tax function across the UK and Ireland for a global captive vehicle finance provider. You will report to the CFO, driving best-in-class financial control, statutory reporting, tax compliance and governance, with a focus on transformation and automation.

The role offers significant strategic exposure, a strong performance culture and succession opportunities within a growing finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong IFRS, local GAAP and UK tax knowledge.
• Experience in asset finance, leasing or captive financial services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and tax function across the UK and Ireland.
• Deliver statutory reporting, tax compliance and governance.
• Own period-end close, balance sheet integrity and financial controls.
• Drive finance transformation through process improvement and automation.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team with coaching and succession planning.
