Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA in Newhaven seeks an experienced finance leader to drive financial reporting and control for the South Downs contract. You will lead a small team, set objectives, and ensure timely, accurate reporting across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with strong post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in business partnering and stakeholder management.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and control for the South Downs contract with the Finance team.
• Manage a team of three (1 qualified accountant, 2 technicians) and conduct performance reviews.
• Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis for multiple units.
