Job summary

Frontier Economics is seeking a Financial Controller to safeguard the integrity of financial records and lead the Financial Control team across Frontier's UK and international operations. You will own the monthly close, revenue recognition, WIP, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting, and support the Finance Director with statutory reporting and external audits.

A strong control environment, policy implementation and cross‑functional collaboration with FP&A, practices and budget

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial close process, agree and communicate deadlines and ensure timely and accurate Management Accounts.
• Review the consolidated Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and schedules, noting significant movements and variances.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and drive timely resolution of reconciling items and improved hygiene.
• Ensure integrity of general ledger and consistency of financial information across UK and international operations.
• Provide high-quality actuals, analysis and accounting insight to support management reporting and forecasting.
• Translate reporting requirements into robust, user-friendly reports for Practices, Budget Holders and senior management.
• Support annual financial statements and external audit with complete and accurate accounting records and schedules.
