You will own the financial reporting, controls and compliance framework, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership to ensure the integrity of the numbers and to drive improvements in reporting and controls. There will also be a commercial and analytical element.

This is a profitable, ambitious business at an exciting point in its development, and this is a key appointment as they look to continue that growth trajectory.

The role itself is the senior financial control position within the business, with full ownership of the financial reporting, controls and compliance framework. You will be working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, ensuring the integrity of the numbers, driving improvements in reporting and controls, and providing the financial rigour that a business of this nature demands. There will also be a commercial and analytical element, so the ability to contribute beyond the control agenda is important.

This will suit a qualified accountant with a solid track record at Financial Controller level, who is comfortable working at pace in a growing business and has the commercial credibility to work closely with senior leadership.

The role is based in Greater Sheffield on a hybrid working model, with a salary of up to £90,000.
