Monzo is seeking a Senior Financial Control Analyst to join our London or Cardiff offices with hybrid working across the UK. You will lead financial accounting for software capitalisation, drive month-end close, and ensure robust control environments in a fast-growing retail bank.

With 2+ years post-qualification experience, you will apply IFRS standards, partner with product teams, and support year-end activities with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Embed software capitalisation process with engineering and business teams to automate and scale.
• 2) Own the financial reporting processes for software capitalisation and perform month-end controls.
• 3) Apply IFRS capitalisation and impairment standards to challenge the business with evidence.
• 4) Support month-end close and group consolidation with the finance team.
• 5) Assist year-end with external auditors and update accounting policies for new products.
