Job Description:
Position Summary

This role is positioned within the International Finance team. It will take lead responsibility for reviewing, monitoring, and analyzing Revenue and Commission costs across the International offices. Ensuring all variances are fully understood and reported. The role will also liaise closely with the Finance team based in the Weybridge Office and globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the FP&A Manager and supporting other members of the International Finance Team.
  • Monitoring commissions and reporting performance against commercial terms and tactical schemes. Collecting and reviewing International offices' monthly commission submissions and presenting these to the line manager and Finance Director.
  • Reviewing and tracking Revenue, analyzing variances against Forecast and Plan, and providing explanations to Senior Leadership and Head Office.
  • Participating in the Annual Operating Plan and monthly Forecast process for Revenue and Commissions across all International offices, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are accurate. Identifying risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting financial information to support informed decision-making across the International business. Ownership of monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Partnering with in-market Finance and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to financial procedures and controls.
  • Supporting the maintenance, development, and improvement of departmental reporting, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the administration of the Financial System/EPM (PBCS).
  • Performing other duties as required, understanding that this description is not exhaustive.
Qualifications:
  • CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Good analytical degree and 'A' levels.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proactive self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized, takes ownership of key duties, and manages competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to conduct independent analysis.
  • Experience or knowledge of the travel industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • At least three years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
  • Experience with analytical or planning/EPM tools is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including macros) and knowledge of database software (e.g., Microsoft Access).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working within a large international organization and in a multi-currency environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships at all levels of seniority.
