Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for its Prime Video finance team in London. You will support the EMEA operational accounting activities and drive end-to-end processes with finance and business partners.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, process improvement, and GAAP knowledge (US GAAP and IFRS), with excellent analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• Experience identifying, leading and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes.
• ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required.
• Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting activities end-to-end.
• Own end-to-end processes to support finance and business partners.
• Assess internal control design and implement new controls for growing activities.
• Exercise judgement to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead projects, provide accounting guidance and liaise with finance partners.
