Job summary

JSS in London is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join an insurance broking business. ACA/ACCA-qualified accountants from a Big Four audit background are encouraged to apply, leveraging audit and technical accounting experience within a growing international environment.

The role provides broad exposure to IFRS, group reporting, acquisitions and regulatory reporting, with governance and strong interaction with senior finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with Big Four audit background.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join an insurance broking business in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant from a Big Four audit background to make the move into industry and apply their audit and technical accounting experience within a growing, international business.

The role offers broad exposure across:

• Technical accounting and IFRS
• Group reporting and consolidations
• Acquisition accounting and M&A
• Statutory and regulatory reporting
• Accounting policies and technical papers
• Financial controls and governance
• Working closely with senior Finance stakeholders and external auditors

The ideal candidate will have Big Four audit experience, ideally with exposure to insurance broking, alongside a strong understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting. Experience of acquisitions, Group structures or complex accounting matters would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone looking to build on their audit experience and move into a highly visible technical accounting position within industry, with genuine exposure to M&A and Group Finance.
