Mayborn is seeking a Financial Accountant at our Global HQ in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will own day-to-day financial reporting and drive statutory accounts, management reports, and regulatory submissions.

You will work closely with the Head of Financial Control & Compliance, coaching a junior team member and coordinating external audits and tax matters for UK and overseas entities. This role demands strong IFRS knowledge and process improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• ACA/ACCA qualification is required.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.
• High awareness of IFRS principles is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, statutory accounts, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate audit and tax compliance for UK and overseas subsidiaries.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls and reporting tools.
• Support IFRS updates and implications for the group.
