Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant on an interim basis to cover financial reporting, MI and technical accounting in a high-performing finance team. This role blends numbers with commercial insight and requires effective stakeholder engagement.

Hybrid work in Bristol (2 days per week) with UK GAAP/HGB knowledge; you will drive monthly and quarterly reporting, analyse performance, partner with business teams, and mentor junior staff as part of wider finance projects.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and/or HGB.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicating financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to understand and explain the drivers behind the numbers.
• Comfortable challenging existing processes and identifying improvements.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
