In your new role you'll be crucial in establishing a robust financial controls framework, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting strategic business decisions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reports, complying with regulatory and company standards, and continuously improving financial processes. Leveraging your expertise in technical accounting and analytical skills, you will act as a trusted business partner, providing valuable insights and leading initiatives to optimise financial systems, improve operations, and drive sustainable growth within the division.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be ACA or ACCA qualified and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with UK PLC reporting is preferred, along with the ability to constructively challenge existing processes to drive improvements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, paired with a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as they arise.
