Almac Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in Craigavon to lead the finance team and deliver accurate, timely financial information across management accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
The role requires a qualified UK accountant with post-qualification experience, strong Excel skills and experience supervising year-end packs. The successful candidate will drive financial analysis and partner with stakeholders across the organisation for decision support.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in leading a finance team and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial information that supports business performance. Working across management accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance, you will oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and year-end accounts, while providing insightful analysis, KPI reporting and financial commentary to stakeholders across the organisation. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant with a UK-recognised professional body. You should have significant post-qualification experience, preferably gained within a commercial finance setting, along with experience supervising the completion of entity financial accounts, including P&L, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, AP/AR reviews and fixed asset accounting. In addition, you will need experience organising the completion of entity year-end accounts packs and working papers for auditors. You will also need to be an advanced MS Excel user; able to utilise its data manipulation techniques and reporting tools
