Job summary

Edenbrook is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation Manager to lead a major finance transformation, evolve the accounting function and BPO model, and act as the key finance liaison to the wider programme in the UK. You will own business cases, track benefits, and drive change across accounting processes and governance with partners.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong knowledge of finance processes, systems and stakeholder management, capable of delivering strategic integration

Responsibilities

• Act as the Accounting point of contact, owning the business case and tracking progress against benefits and milestones.
• Lead the change portfolio across all accounting areas, including AI-related initiatives, prioritising projects and resolving dependencies.
• Design and implement the target operating model for accounting, working with HR and external service partners.
• Drive change management across the accounting function, ensuring people, processes and ways of working are ready for new models.
• Collaborate with other business units to share best practice and bring innovative approaches into the UK programme.
• Establish governance for the offshore accounting model, overseeing service delivery against SLAs and quality standards.
• Manage Accounting costs, budgets, volumes and productivity, taking corrective action where required.
• Apply expert knowledge of end-to-end finance and business processes to deliver effective solutions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and input into key decisions.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and barriers, ensuring actions are taken.
• Provide senior leadership with insights and updates on transformation progress.
• Bridge Finance, operations and external partners to drive delivery of the transformation agenda.

We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance company, to recruit a Senior Finance Transformation Manager. The successful candidate will be leading a finance transformation, driving the evolution of the accounting function and BPO model while acting as the key finance link to the wider programme.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and barriers, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented.
• Provide senior leadership with clear insights, recommendations and updates on transformation progress and performance.
• Act as a key bridge between Finance, operational teams and external partners to drive successful delivery of the transformation agenda.

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant with a solid background working on finance transformation programmes.
• Excellent understanding of finance processes and systems with ability to manage individuals directly and through others.
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to built relationships at all levels.
