Role Overview: Enfield Council seeks a Senior Finance Officer to support the Finance Business Partnering team, providing financial support to the Council and Senior Management, especially within Adult & Children’s Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support revenue budget setting, monitoring, and year-end processes.
2. Provide technical advice to budget holders and officers for decision-making.
3. Present financial information clearly and analyze service details beyond just financials.
4. Identify opportunities to enhance financial support to the service.
5. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for key information.

Applicants with a full or part CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification are desirable. Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring staff to be in the office a few times per month.
