Job description

A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team for a Senior Finance Officer to support the Council and Senior Management Team financially. Reporting to Finance Managers, this role will support Adult & Children's Social Care.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting revenue budget setting, monitoring, and year-end processes within the Business Partnering team.
  • Providing technical advice to budget holders and officers to aid decision-making.
  • Presenting financial information clearly and exploring detailed understanding of services beyond just financials.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve financial support to the service.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders for key information.

A full or part CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification is desirable.

Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement, with staff expected to be in the office a couple of times per month.
