Job summary

Our client, a global manufacturing group, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager/Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting, AP/AR and reporting for a growing division in the UK. The role calls for a qualification in Finance & Accounting and 5+ years of management experience.

Experience with US GAAP would be a benefit, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential to translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Holder of a qualification in Finance & Accounting.
• 5+ years of finance and accounting management experience.
• US GAAP experience would be a benefit
• Skilled in accounting and financial forecasting.
• A collaborative team player with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to ensure cost efficiency and robust planning.
• Assist in preparing key reports, including Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Operating Reviews, and input into the overall Operating Business Planning.
• Develop financial models and projections for revenue, orders, expenses, income, and cash flow.
• Analyse plant operating results, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to leadership.
• Drive productivity initiatives, monitor commercial commissions, and translate complex financial data into clear insights.
