A dynamic recruitment agency is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the Senior Finance Director in overseeing finance operations across UK and US entities. This role involves leading group financial reporting, managing consolidations, and providing board-ready reporting packs. Qualified candidates should have 6–10 years of progressive finance experience and strong group reporting skills. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to major UK cities.

Qualifications

• Exposure to US entities advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly group management accounts (UK parent + US entity oversight).
• Manage multi-entity consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
• Deliver board-ready reporting packs with commentary and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Monitor cash flow, runway and working capital.
• Support audit, statutory accounts and tax processes.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Drive process improvements and finance system enhancements.

Education

We have partnered with a high-growth, venture-backed biotech who are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support the Senior Finance Director in leading group financial operations across UK and US entities.

This is a broad and high-impact role within a lean, scaling environment. You will operate as the senior operational finance lead, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable financial infrastructure as the business progresses through its next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, you will:

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• Strong group reporting and consolidation experience
• Exposure to US entities advantageous
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
• Comfortable operating within lean, scaling structures
