Global Highland Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their head office in Inverness. The role leads the finance function across a diverse portfolio, overseeing reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and cash management to support sustainable growth.

You’ll work closely with the Group CFO and senior leaders to provide accurate financial insights, strengthen governance, and drive improvements across systems and processes.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
• Significant finance management experience, ideally within a multi-entity group or portfolio environment.
• Strong experience in management reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, balance sheet management and financial controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems and reporting tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly reporting and consolidation across the portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely information.
• Oversee management accounts and reporting packs for senior management and the Board.
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast, highlighting trends, variances, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans.
• Maintain balance sheet control, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting and group recharges.
• Drive improvements in quality and efficiency of financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow reporting and working capital management.
• Develop treasury processes and controls and manage group banking relationships.
• Monitor cash conversion, debtor performance and aged debt; drive cash generation improvements.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, accounting procedures and governance standards.
• Ensure consistent application of group finance policies and reporting requirements.
• Identify financial risks and control weaknesses and drive improvements.
• Coordinate year-end reporting and external audit requirements.
• Support improvements to finance systems, reporting automation and processes.
• Assist integration of newly acquired businesses and post-acquisition activities.
• Build relationships with business leaders and finance teams to provide commercial insight.
