Senior Finance Business Partner – Tech

Locations: Manchester, Staines, Leeds, or London

Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

The role

Support the Head of Business Partnering by providing finance support to the Functional Executive team and their teams. Deliver key financial processes including month-end, rolling forecasts, and the three-year plan.

How you'll help us make health happen
  • Present total technology function results for both regular and ad hoc cost reporting to BGIUK CIO and Technology Leadership Team.
  • Review and finalize executive-level commentary for the Tech function, including monthly flash reports, ELOS, and functional/cost center reporting.
  • Provide proactive financial support by understanding MU and functional strategy, transformation activities, and BAU, performing financial modeling including investment appraisals and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate with TCO Analysts to integrate contracts and licenses into planning and forecasting.
  • Understand the Group/MU Finance landscape and engage relevant teams to support activities such as actuals, forecasts, planning, modeling, FP&R, systems, and tax.
  • Be data-driven, ensuring budget holders have relevant information for decision-making and automating data provision where possible.
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles such as business partnering, financial analysis, planning/forecasting, management accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Experience in business partnering with an executive team, confident in presenting analytics, challenging assumptions, and understanding corporate functions.
  • Financial modeling and investment appraisal skills.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and take a risk-based approach.
