Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, budget holders and business leaders.
• Provide financial insight and constructive challenge to support informed business decisions.
• Oversee delivery of budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, management reports and variance analysis.
• Ensure financial information is timely and aligned with planning cycles.
• Review and challenge business cases for affordability, risk and value for money.
• Support business planning and ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with Finance and other functions to resolve complex financial and operational issues.
• Identify resource demand and supply issues, helping ensure appropriate resource allocation.
• Lead, manage and develop business partnering teams, including capacity planning, coaching and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, service quality and financial awareness across the business.
• Communicate financial performance, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
