Marks Sattin is recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner for a 12-month contract in Reading, with on-site requirements (3 days per week). The role involves financial insight, governance, and coordination across finance partnering teams to support high-stakes programmes.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in finance business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting, and must be eligible for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and provide financial insight for decision making.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, reports and variance analysis to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate resource deployment across finance partnering teams and support Lead FP&A partners.
• Contribute to business case development with appropriate financial scrutiny.
• Ensure robust governance of budgets, funding and reporting processes.

Senior Finance Business Partner | 12-Month Contract | Reading (3 days on-site)

We're actively recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a government-owned organisation operating at the forefront of science, engineering and national infrastructure, supporting some of the UK's most complex and strategically important programmes.

The role:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight to support business decisions and performance
• Oversee the delivery of budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, management reports and variance analysis, ensuring deadlines and reporting cycles are met
• Lead the allocation and deployment of resources across business partnering teams, supporting Lead Finance Business Partners
• Contribute to the development and review of business cases, ensuring appropriate financial scrutiny
• Maintain robust financial governance, ensuring budgets, funding and reporting processes are appropriately managed
• Drive consistency, accuracy and quality across financial data, processes and deliverables

Successful Candidate:

• Strong experience in finance business partnering within a complex organisation
• Experience across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating financial information into actionable insight
• Experience managing workloads, coordinating deliverables or supporting the development of finance teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
• Available at short notice

Security clearance: Candidates must be eligible to undergo the vetting process, which includes relevant nationality and UK residency checks. The standard residency requirement for DV is 10 years in the UK, although individual circumstances may be considered.
