Job summary

Cedar in Crewe is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a PE-backed infrastructure group. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with commercial and operations leaders to improve project profitability, cash generation and working capital in a fast-growing environment.

You will lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, provide clear insight into contract performance, challenge forecasts, and support the integration of acquisitions

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in infrastructure/contract-led environment.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Provide clear insight into contract and project performance.
• Challenging commercial assumptions, forecasts, risks and opportunities.
• Participate in monthly contract reviews and drive greater financial accountability.
• Own divisional cash-flow forecasting and improve billing, collections and cash lock-up.
• Support the integration of acquired businesses and embedding consistent financial processes.
