Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be exclusively supporting a fantastic Manchester-based business in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner.

This is a high-impact, senior-facing role focused on partnering with key stakeholders, improving processes and data, managing a small commercial team, and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting structures that meet stakeholder needs, from area managers to the Executive team, driving cost focus and KPIs.
• Deliver timely and accurate area-level financial reporting.
• Provide insightful variance and cost analysis, with clear recommendations.
• Identify and track performance improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Finance Systems Manager to enhance reporting tools and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and budgets for review, including scenario analysis.
• Support forecasting and planning with the FP&A team.
• Promote financial understanding among non-finance colleagues.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant
• Proven business partnering experience
• Strong communicator with financial and non-financial teams
• Skilled in financial reporting and analysis
• Proactive, deadline-driven, and continuous improvement-focused

Package:

• Up to £70,000 + car allowance + bonus
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
