Job summary

Stanton House is partnering with a high-growth, technology-led business to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner – Corporate Costs in London. The role blends financial leadership with strategic partnership across Finance, Operations, HR, Facilities, Strategy, Product and Technology.

You will drive corporate cost management, budgeting and forecasting, with a strong emphasis on CAPEX planning, ROI and business-case evaluation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience with cost management, CAPEX and investment appraisal.
• Ability to build and evaluate business cases.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder influencing abilities.
• Experience with a technology, SaaS or recurring-revenue environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leads to manage and optimise operating expenditure.
• Provide insightful monthly reporting, variance analysis and commercial commentary.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and tracking of CAPEX across key projects.
• Assess business cases and investment proposals, including ROI analysis.
• Work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of capital projects.
• Support procurement and contract negotiations through financial analysis and modelling.
• Develop financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
• Provide analysis and insight for Board and senior leadership reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and create value.
• Support the financial integration of acquisitions and wider transformation initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey, where Finance is increasingly becoming a strategic partner to the wider organisation. Reporting into the senior Finance team, you will work closely with senior leadership and budget holders across the business, providing the insight, challenge and commercial thinking needed to support better decision-making.

This is not a traditional finance reporting role. You will have genuine ownership and influence across a broad portfolio, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, Facilities, Strategy, Product and Technology.

• 5+ years' relevant finance experience, ideally within a commercial finance or Finance Business Partnering environment.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience with cost management, CAPEX and investment appraisal.
• The ability to build and evaluate compelling business cases.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into clear commercial insight.
• The confidence to build relationships with and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine desire to understand how a business works.
• Experience within a technology, SaaS or recurring-revenue environment would be advantageous.
