Job Description:

Change Financial Services is working on an exclusive basis with our client in Edinburgh. An award-winning business with an expanding book of business, they are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner for their team. The role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office, and involves engaging with senior managers to analyze revenue and lead strategic decision-making, insight, and analysis.

The company offers a range of products to a growing customer base. The role involves modelling, analysis, planning, deputising for the CFO, and building relationships with stakeholders at the executive level. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, comfortable presenting insights that span finance and other areas. Core duties include:

• Leading insight and analysis of revenue drivers
• Responsibility for FP&A activities
• Budget setting, review, and monitoring
• Presenting monthly insight packs to senior stakeholders
• Modelling key themes and scenario planning
• Assessing new business cases
• Analyzing spend versus costs across products
• Engaging with product SMEs

Applicants should demonstrate commercial awareness and partnering experience, preferably from financial services or businesses with multiple revenue streams. Experience in income and cost review, as well as reporting tools, is beneficial. Confidence with numbers and presenting to non-finance professionals is essential.
